Stockholms ”slakthusområdet” slaughter house area is an old historic part of Stockholm used for the meat industry, where many businesses butchered animal carcasses and packed the meat before it was sent out to shops for consumption.

For the many animals that where butchered here it was almost the final stage of their existance, this area just situated south of the city is now being demolished to make way for new urban building developments.

So this historic industrial area of Stockholm is also now in the final stages of it’s life, nearing the end, it will also soon be no more as it was !
