“With kind permission from Stockholm's Natural History Museum I was given the opportunity to photograph the exhibits for this series of images, some of which are shown here.

I can still remember, as a young boy, the great impression my first visit to London’s Natural History Museum had on me. Nature and History has always been of interest to me and still has an influence on my thoughts and feelings, which can often be seen in my photography.

Natural History focuses on understanding the rich and diverse natural world. Through observational study and investigation, natural history seeks to understand the diversity, complexities, and interconnectedness, of life on earth in contrasting habitats and time.

Natural history explores how our natural world has been shaped, and how it continues to change, both by natural processes and through human intervention."
